Treehouse: Located just 20 minutes away from the city you’ll have a unique experience staying in the jungle, surrounded by nature, monkeys, they offer daily activities, delicious food, and you’ll meet the most amazing travelers as well. Treehouse is one of the top hostels in Nicaragua, and Latin America, therefore it is a must to stay and get to know more about their story and not just for the jungle rave.

By Chicken Bus: You can take the bus in Managua at the bus station located in front of the old university called UCA, also known in spanish as “parada de la UCA”. The cost would be C$37.
By Private Shuttle: A ride from Managua to Granada could cost you around $30 - $50 depending on how many people are joining.

By Chicken Bus: You can take the bus in Managua at the bus station in Huembes Market that goes to Rivas, then you take another one that goes directly to San Juan del Sur. You can catch this second one close to the roundabout or at the Rivas Market. The total cost would be around C$140.
By Private Shuttle: A ride from Managua to San Juan del Sure could cost you around $80 - $90 depending on how many people are taking the shuttle.
Popoyo

How to get to Popoyo, Nicaragua
By Chicken Bus: You can take the bus in Managua at the bus station in Huembes Market that goes to Rivas, then you have to take another one at the Rivas market and look for the bus that goes to Las Salinas. You can also take the direct bus from Managua to Las Salinas that departures from Monday to Saturday at 3pm. There are no direct buses to Popoyo, you’ll be dropped off at the entrance, you can either walk or hitchhike. The total would be between C$120 to C$160.

How to Get to the Corn Islands
By Chicken Bus: You can take the bus in Managua at the bus station located in El Mayoreo that goes to Bluefields. You can take the overnight bus so you can arrive in the morning since it takes around 8 hours to get there. Then you can take the ferry that takes 6 hours to get to the Corn Islands but it only departs once or twice a week depending on the time and weather, it could be Wednesdays or Saturdays. The cost in total would be around $30 to get there.
By Flight: Taking a flight from Managua airport with La Costeña Airlines is the easiest and hassle-free way to get to the Corn Islands. The round trip costs around $180. The flight takes an hour and you’ll get to see the stunning views from the sky. I would recommend taking the flight if you’re not on a budget.
Masaya Volcano
